The First National Bank of Dickens
Dickens is the county
seat of Dickens County, 62 miles east of Lubbock on US 82 and
146 miles west of Wichita Falls on the same highway.
Like some rural Texas towns, Dickens
has almost emptied.
It is home to the Dickens County Museum.
The First National Bank of Dickens
was chartered 8303 in July, 1906. It closed March 26, 1913.
