The First National Bank of Iowa Park was chartered number 5589, October 2, 1900, and a 1921 Sanborn map shows a bank on this corner of Park & Wall Streets.

On June 27, 1932, the bank was succeeded by The State National Bank of Iowa Park.

The First National Bank of Iowa Park printed 1882 Brown Backs, Date Backs, and Value Backs, then 1902 Plain Backs and 1929 Type 1's.

The census lists six notes: three 1902 Plain Backs and three 1929 notes. None is in the Philpott-Moody Collection.

This 1902 Plain Back sold at January 2016 FUN Auction for $3,995.
