Yeager Drugstore on the SE corner of Mesquite Street and NE 1st Street. A bank is also visible at the next corner up from the Yeager Drug which is the SE corner of Mesquite and Hubbard Streets." The First National Bank of Mesquite was chartered on February 27, 1902, and continued printing to the end of the National Bank period.
The bank issued 1902 Red Seals, Date Backs and Plain Backs plus 1929 Types 1 & 2.
The census shows thirteen notes: one 1902 Red Seal, two 1902 Plain backs, eight 1929 Type 1's, and two Type 2's. The Red Seal is in the Philpott-Moody Collection.This 1929 Type 1 sold at a Heritage auction September, 2019, for $1,320.
