Millsap
The First National Bank of Millsap
Millsap is in Parker
County, 49 miles west of Ft. Worth on IH 20 to FM 113, then north.
There is not much left of the old
town of Millsap (looking SE).
Where the road (Fannin St.) crosses the train tracks through
town,
the vertical red line marks all that remains of the early construction.
The First National Bank of Millsap,
Charter 12687, opened in April, 1925, and printed money until
May 10, 1932.
There are seven notes in the census:
six 1902 Plain Backs and one 1929 Type 1. Two of the Plain Backs
are in The Philpott-Moody collection.
This Plain Back sold in January,
2015, at a Heritage Auction for $2,585.
